Job summary

Compassus in the United States seeks a Hospice Care Consultant (HCC) to grow our market share by building strong relationships with healthcare providers, identifying eligible patients, and ensuring timely, appropriate admissions. This role blends strategic account growth with compassionate, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of sales success, excellent CRM skills, and a demonstrated ability to navigate sensitive conversations with clinicians, patients, and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business preferred.
• Five or more years of successful sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Experience in Hospice, Home Health, or Healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by opening new accounts and expanding existing ones.
• Secure referrals from physicians, staff, and administrators and ensure rapid admissions.
• Meet or exceed weekly performance goals and maintain productivity.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships with referral sources using consultative sales.
• Demonstrate compassion and empathy to patients and families; stay resilient.
• Prioritize patients and be willing to work outside standard hours as needed.
• Solicit feedback from sources and relay insights to operations to drive change.
• Adapt to business priorities and market dynamics as required.
• Provide clinical training and education to referral partners.
