Job summary

Gentiva Hospice seeks an experienced RN Executive Director to provide strategic leadership for a mid-sized hospice location in Montgomery, AL, with relocation assistance available. The role requires strong clinical and operational acumen, staff development, and collaboration with the governing body to uphold mission and regulatory standards.

The Executive Director RN II will oversee interdisciplinary teams, ensure high-quality patient-centered care, manage budgets, and drive service excellence

Qualifications

• RN with minimum of associate’s degree in nursing required.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
• Master’s degree in business, nursing or related field preferred.
• Minimum one year management/supervisory experience required.
• Two or more years’ experience in hospice/home care required.
• Current license to practice nursing in the state of requested employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for a mid-sized hospice program, accountable for clinical quality, operational performance, and census growth.
• Promotes and monitors compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Oversees budget planning, financial performance and resource management.
• Manages Human Resources and staff development within the location.
• Ensures documentation of services is accurate and timely; coordinates with Administrator and Governing Body.
• Meets safety and quality standards and fosters patient-centered care across the location.
