AccentCare, Inc. is seeking a Hospice Executive Director in West Allis, WI. This full-time, on-site role requires an RN license and leadership in a hospice setting. You will oversee operations, budgeting, compliance, and strategic growth with the support of a dedicated team.

The position emphasizes regulatory readiness, quality care, and a collaborative culture, with a salary range of $150,000–$165,000 plus bonus and DOE incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or leadership experience in a hospice setting required.
• Must be an RN licensed in the practicing state.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and EMR systems.
• Strong financial oversight and budgeting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hospice compliance with federal, state and local laws.
• Lead accreditation efforts and maintain survey readiness.
• Provide leadership to support growth with Business Development.
• Oversee program budget and control costs.
• Organize and administer hospice resources to deliver care.
• Manage day-to-day hospice operations and care plans.
• Ensure patient/family goals and comfort are prioritized.

• Bachelors Degree and/or leadership experience, in a hospice setting required
• Must be a (RN) Registered Nurse licensed in practicing state
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of computer programs, especially Microsoft Office Suite products and EMR systems
• Meet the regulations and requirements of the state in which the program provides services.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure hospice follows all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, including;
• Compliance, maintenance and submission of all required reports and records to Federal, State, accreditation, and Local regulatory departments
• Maintaining accreditation, when applicable
• Maintaining a state of survey readiness
• Provide leadership and oversight to support growth through strategic implementation of relationship expansion plans in collaboration with the Business Development teams
• Manage overall financial performance of the program site which includes oversight of all controllable costs
• Participate in annual development of the program site's budget
• Organizes, manages, and administers hospice resources to provide hospice care and services to patients, families, and caregivers necessary for the palliation and management of the terminal illness and related conditions
• Is responsible for the day-to-day hospice operations
• Ensure the hospice offers a coordinated plan of care for all patients/families while maintaining overall management of care
• Ensures care provided optimizes the patient and family's comfort and dignity
• Ensures care provided is consistent with patient and family needs and goals, with the patient's needs and goals as a priority
