Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. is seeking an Executive Director for Hospice in Lynnwood, WA. This senior leadership role oversees all hospice operations, ensures regulatory compliance, fiscal responsibility, and program growth in collaboration with business development teams.

The position requires strong leadership, healthcare leadership experience, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care while maintaining accreditation readiness and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or leadership experience in a healthcare setting (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of computer programs, especially Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems.
• Meet the regulations and requirements of the state where the program provides services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hospice follows all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, including compliance with reporting requirements.
• Maintain accreditation and submit all required reports to regulatory bodies and accrediting organizations.
• Maintain a state of survey readiness and lead/cooperate with survey activities.
• Provide leadership to support growth through strategic relationship expansion in collaboration with Business Development.
• Manage overall financial performance, budgeting, and controllable costs for the program site.
• Oversee annual budget development for the program site.
• Organize and administer hospice resources to provide care for patients, families, and caregivers.
• Responsible for day-to-day hospice operations and care planning.
• Ensure coordinated plan of care aligns with patient and family goals and maintains comfort and dignity.

• Maintaining a state of survey readiness
• Provide leadership and oversight to support growth through strategic implementation of relationship expansion plans
  in collaboration with the Business Development teams
• Manage overall financial performance of the program site which includes oversight of all controllable costs
• Participate in annual development of the program site’s budget
• Organizes, manages, and administers hospice resources to provide hospice care and services to patients, families,
  and caregivers necessary for the palliation and management of the terminal illness and related conditions
• Is responsible for the day-to-day hospice operations
• Ensure the hospice offers a coordinated plan of care for all patients/families while maintaining overall management
  of care
• Ensures care provided optimizes the patient and family’s comfort and dignity
• Ensures care provided is consistent with patient and family needs
  and goals, with the patient’s needs and goals as a priority
