Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking an Executive Director for the Independence market to lead daily hospice operations, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure compassionate patient care. This role supervises professional and administrative staff, maintains budget integrity, and partners with clinical and community teams to enhance outcomes.

The Executive Director will guide interdisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with Medicare Hospice Certification, and foster a supportive, mission-driven work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 2–5 years experience in health care management.
• Ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
• Demonstrates ability to deal tactfully with the community.
• Has knowledge of corporate business management.
• Understands hospice care and the services provided to patient and family/caregiver through an interdisciplinary group.
• Intimate knowledge of Medicare Hospice Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead Daily Operations: Oversee all aspects of hospice operations, including budgeting, planning, staffing, and compliance with legal and healthcare standards.
• Ensure High-Quality Care: Promote ethical practices and ensure compassionate, comprehensive patient care.
• Support and Develop Staff: Ensure staffing, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
• Foster Team-Based Care: Oversee collaboration across nurses, physicians, social workers, chaplains, and other staff.
• Drive Organizational Excellence: Monitor services, finances, and patient outcomes; identify improvements.
• Build Strong Partnerships: Work with departments, partners, vendors, and leadership for seamless service.
