Job summary

Adoration Hospice in Independence/Ashtabula is seeking an Executive Director to lead daily operations, ensure compliant, high-quality hospice care, and guide strategic growth in the market.

Ideal candidates have a business or health care leadership background, 2–5 years in health care management, and the ability to recruit, train, and retain a strong care team while partnering with community stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is required; Master’s in health care or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of health care management experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
• Ability to engage effectively with the community and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of corporate business management and Medicare Hospice Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead Daily Operations: oversee budgeting, planning, staffing, and compliance with healthcare standards.
• Ensure High-Quality Care: promote ethical practices and compassionate patient care.
• Support and Develop Staff: ensure staffing, training, supervision, and development.
• Foster Team-Based Care: oversee collaboration across interdisciplinary teams.
