Job summary

Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking an Executive Director to steer the strategic direction, inspire a team, and grow the reach of our hospice care while ensuring patients and families receive compassionate, person-centered service.

You will own the site’s operational and financial health, partner with clinical leadership, drive census growth through physician and facility relationships, and uphold CMS and state regulations to keep the program survey-ready.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration or closely related field preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree considered with extensive applicable healthcare leadership experience.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in healthcare, preferably in hospice.
• Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills.
• Requires the ability to travel and reliable vehicle/transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site’s operations and patient care with accountability.
• Grow census by building relationships with physicians, hospitals, facilities, and community partners.
• Own the operational and financial health of the site, including budget management and resource planning.
• Ensure CMS Conditions of Participation and state regulations compliance to stay survey-ready.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a skilled interdisciplinary team with a compassionate culture.
• Partner with clinical leadership to uphold the highest standard of patient care.
