Job summary

Harmony Hospice, LLC is seeking a Director of Clinical Services in Chicopee, MA to lead clinical operations with a focus on patient comfort, dignity, and family support.

You will supervise clinical staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive QAPI initiatives while guiding a compassionate team in delivering high-quality hospice care.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Massachusetts with clinical leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of CHAP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services by clinical staff.
• Provide supervision and guidance to staff to ensure service quality and standards.
• Perform chart audits and collect data for QAPI activities.
• Evaluate staff performance during probation and annually.
• Identify patient needs and determine appropriateness of home care.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with laws and CHAP standards.
• Assist orientation of new staff and participate in audits and meetings.
• Ensure adequate medical supplies are available and managed.

Harmony Hospice, LLC is seeking a compassionate and visionary Director of Clinical Services to lead our clinical operations in Chicopee, MA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the provision of high-quality hospice care, ensuring the comfort, dignity, and support of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel
• Provide supervision and guidance to clinical staff to ensure the quality of services and maintenance of standards
• Perform chart audits and gather data for QAPI activities
• Appraise clinical staff performance during their probationary period and annually
• Identify and evaluate patient needs and appropriateness of home care
• Maintain patient clinical records and assure compliance with local, state, and federal laws as well as CHAP standards of care
• Assist with the orientation of new staff and participate in audits, IDG meetings, and QAPI
• Maintain adequate and appropriate Medical Supplies
• Responsible for orientation of new personnel and in-services for current staff
• Ensure Medicare, State, and CHAP regulations are followed by all clinical staff
  

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Registered Nurse licensed by the state of Massachusetts
• At least one (1) year of supervisory experience
• Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community
• Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations, and CHAP standards
• Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing
• Self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others, with a commitment to goal achievement
