Harmony Hospice, LLC is seeking a Director of Clinical Services in Chicopee, MA to lead clinical operations, ensuring high-quality hospice care with dignity and support for patients and families.

The role requires an MA-licensed RN with supervisory experience, capable of overseeing staff, audits, and regulatory compliance with Medicare/CHAP standards, while fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Registered Nurse licensed by the state of Massachusetts.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
• Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations, and CHAP standards.
• Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
• Self-confidence and positive attitude toward self and others, with a commitment to goal achievement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel.
• Provide supervision and guidance to clinical staff to ensure the quality of services and maintenance of standards.
• Perform chart audits and gather data for QAPI activities.
• Appraise clinical staff performance during their probationary period and annually.
• Identify and evaluate patient needs and appropriateness of home care.
• Maintain patient clinical records and assure compliance with local, state, and federal laws as well as CHAP standards of care.
• Assist with the orientation of new staff and participate in audits, IDG meetings, and QAPI.
• Maintain adequate and appropriate Medical Supplies.
• Responsible for orientation of new personnel and in-services for current staff.
• Ensure Medicare, State, and CHAP regulations are followed by all clinical staff.
