Job summary

Residential Home Health and Hospice in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Hospice Consultant to join our care team. You will partner with field staff and leaders to provide support, ensuring high-quality patient care while building strong referral networks.

The role requires an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred) and at least one year in healthcare marketing, with knowledge of federal and state home care/hospice marketing laws.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with all existing referral sources.

• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources and field staff.
• Work closely with Marketing, Agency Administrator, and Clinical Management to ensure demand for clinical care aligns with capacity.

What you’ll do in this role

• Maintain relationships with all existing referral sources
• Actively prospect for new referral sources based on the Agency’s scope of service
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources and field staff
