Job summary

Legacy Hospice is seeking a self-driven Community Liaison to cover the Fredericksburg area. You will build trust-based relationships with referral sources, physicians, and healthcare partners, driving census growth and promoting our hospice services with compassion and professionalism.

The role requires relationship-building skills, healthcare sales experience, and a willingness to travel across Spotsylvania, Stafford, King George, Westmoreland, and Orange Counties.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of sales/marketing experience in healthcare.
• Hospice/palliative marketing experience preferred.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including physicians and healthcare partners.
• Advocate for hospice services through regular outreach.
• Grow census by increasing awareness and preference for hospice services in the service area.
• Drive referral growth via visits with referring physicians, hospital discharge planners, SNFs, social workers, and other professionals.
• Lead initial conversations about hospice care and obtain informed consent empathetically.
