Job summary

The Hospice Sales Representative in Fredericksburg, VA will develop and maintain referral relationships across physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, SNFs, social workers and community partners to increase awareness of hospice services and support appropriate referrals.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in healthcare sales, hospice or related fields, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and is comfortable in the field with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of sales, marketing, business development experience in healthcare required.
• Hospice, palliative care, home health, senior living, hospital, post-acute, or related healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Healthcare service sales experience required; outside referral development experience is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; additional relevant experience may be considered in place of degree.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, facility leadership, community partners, and referral sources.
• Strong communication, follow-through, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable working independently in the field while staying connected to the broader team.
• Prior clinical experience is a plus, but not required.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance required.
