Job summary

MBC Talent Connections is seeking a Community Liaison for Hospice Services in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. You will drive census growth and strengthen referral relationships within Gordon, Floyd, and Chattooga Counties, serving as the primary outreach contact to healthcare partners and families.

Responsibilities include building physician and facility networks, conducting outreach to position the hospice as the preferred provider, and guiding patients and families through hospice options with empathy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare sales or marketing experience required.
• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, and community agencies.
• Prior clinical experience a plus.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospital discharge planners, SNFs, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to generate and grow referrals.
• Conduct regular outreach to position the organization as the preferred hospice provider in the service area.
• Lead initial conversations with patients and families about hospice care—explaining services, philosophy, and facilitating consent with empathy and respect.
• Meet and exceed census and growth goals through consistent, relationship-driven sales activity.
