Job summary

Altus Hospice is seeking a self-motivated Hospice RN Clinical Liaison to drive hospital and facility-based outreach. The role focuses on identifying and nurturing referral sources to increase census and educate families about hospice services.

The position covers Georgetown territory with a schedule Tue-Sat, 10:30 am–7 pm. Qualified candidates will hold an RN license, have healthcare sales/marketing experience, and possess strong relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care required.
• Unencumbered RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year sales/marketing experience in healthcare.
• 1–2 years hospice/palliative marketing preferred.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals and community agencies.

Responsibilities

• Develops relationships with hospital and medical facility staff to generate referrals.
• Promotes hospice services and maintains the hospice brand in the service area.
• Makes regular visits and calls to secure new referrals and meet census goals.
• Assists in evaluating patient eligibility based on hospice knowledge.
• Conducts initial meetings with patients and families to explain hospice care and obtain consents.
