Job summary

Omega House is seeking a dedicated Resident Care Aide (CNA) Med Passer to join our team. The role involves direct patient care under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor and collaboration with hospice providers to ensure timely and accurate documentation of care.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and dignity, and participating in ongoing staff education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Michigan CNA certification preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in clinical or hospice settings recommended.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of the direct care team under supervision of the Clinical Supervisor.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, toileting, repositioning, grooming, dressing, eating.
• Assess residents' pain and distress, report changes promptly to lead aide.
• Assist with transfers and mobility using proper body mechanics.
• Prepare meals, do light housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Coordinate with hospice providers; document care timely with the Clinical Supervisor.
