Job summary

Everwind Hospice in Casper, WY seeks a compassionate Hospice CNA to deliver essential personal care in patients' homes or facility settings under RN supervision. You will promote comfort and dignity, document care, and support families during end-of-life care; requires Wyoming CNA certification and at least 1 year hospice or palliative care experience.

Qualifications

Active Wyoming CNA certification.
Minimum of 1 year experience as a CNA, hospice or palliative care preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with empathy, patience, and respect for patients and families.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
Monitor and report changes in patients’ condition to the hospice team.
Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
Document care provided in accordance with agency procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Support the hospice philosophy of care, focusing on comfort rather than cure.
