Job summary

Everwind Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice CNA to provide essential personal care and support to patients in their homes or facility settings. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will promote comfort, dignity, and quality of life during end-of-life care.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, offering compassionate companionship, monitoring changes, and maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Active Wyoming CNA certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CNA, hospice or palliative care preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with empathy, patience, and respect for patients and families.

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and families
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ condition to the hospice team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment
• Document care provided in accordance with agency procedures and regulatory guidelines
• Support the hospice philosophy of care, focusing on comfort rather than cure
