Job summary

Everwind Hospice seeks a dedicated Hospice CNA to provide essential personal care and compassionate support to patients in homes or facility settings under RN supervision. You will promote comfort, dignity, and quality of life during end-of-life care.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, offering emotional support to patients and families, and reporting changes to the hospice team while maintaining a safe, clean environment and documenting care per guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active Wyoming CNA certification is required.
• At least 1 year of CNA, hospice, or palliative care experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work independently with empathy and respect for patients and families

Position Summary:

As a Hospice CNA, you will provide essential personal care and support services to patients in their homes or in facility settings. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, your role is vital in promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life during end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding

• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and families

• Monitor and report changes in patients’ condition to the hospice team

• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment

• Document care provided in accordance with agency procedures and regulatory guidelines

• Support the hospice philosophy of care, focusing on comfort rather than cure

Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification in Wyoming.

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CNA, hospice or palliative care preferred

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
