Job summary

Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a caring CNA in Southwest Florida to work Monday–Friday, 8a–5p in Manatee County and North Sarasota. The role supports patients under a Hospice Aide Plan of Care and requires valid Florida CNA certification and a valid driver’s license.

Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health is seeking a caring and motivated CNA to work with us in Southwest Florida while providing exceptional care on the following schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p; Manatee County and North Sarasota. What you'll Do

Supports and carries out the organization’s mission, vision, and values on a consistent basis. Performs only those personal care/home maintenance activities contained in a written assignment (Hospice Aide Plan of Care) by a health professional employee. Recognizes and reports unusual conditions, incidents or behavior of a patient and/or patient/family interaction to the patient’s nurse or supervisory nurse. Recognizes the role of the Hospice Aide and works within that scope of practice at all times. Maintains utmost respect for confidentiality in care of the patient/family.

What You'll Need
