Job summary

Tropical Health Company seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate personal care to terminally ill hospice patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will support families, including during bereavement, and participate as a member of the hospice interdisciplinary team in accordance with the IDG care plan.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and reporting changes promptly.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Graduate of an approved training and competency program.
• Meets federal Home Health Aide training and competency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for terminally ill hospice patients under RN supervision.
• Support families, including during bereavement, as part of the IDG care plan.
• Take vital signs when assigned by RN and report changes promptly.
• Assist with bathing, hygiene, and daily living activities.
• Assist with transfer, mobility, and range-of-motion exercises as directed.
• Maintain infection control and standard precautions.
