Job summary

Advantage Home Health and Hospice in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team. You will provide compassionate care to patients in their homes or facilities, coordinate with the hospice team, and support families during end-of-life care.

Qualified candidates hold a current CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, and demonstrate empathy, strong communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• Empathy and compassion for patients and families.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to provide physical and emotional comfort.
• Collaboration with hospice care team.
• Understanding end-of-life care principles; hospice experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver empathetic and compassionate care to patients in homes or facilities.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, pain management, and symptom control.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary hospice team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure a peaceful and comfortable environment for patients.
• Advocate for patients and families.
