Job summary

Homeland Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide to support terminally ill patients and their families. The role provides direct patient care and light housekeeping in various settings under an established plan of care, working within an interdisciplinary Hospice IDT.

A PA CNA certification and CPR are required, with prior home health/hospice exposure preferred. Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, based in Harrisburg, PA.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience in an institutional or home care setting.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary setting.
• Must have a valid Pennsylvania CNA Certification and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to patients and families during care.
• Provide personal care and light housekeeping for terminally ill patients.
• Observe, report and document observations and care performed per the care plan.
• Participate as a member of the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
