Job summary

Bristol Hospice in Bend, Oregon is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Interdisciplinary Team. You will provide personal care, support patients and families, and promote comfort under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing.
California: CNA in good standing plus Home Health Aide (HHA) certification if California resident.
Preferred: 1 year experience in community health/hospice or medical/surgical settings.
Minimum 75 hours classroom and supervised practical training.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care including baths, feeding assistance and daily activities as assigned.
Communicate with patients and families with empathy and confidentiality.
Follow safety practices and use equipment properly.
Assist with mobility and transfers under supervision.
Support plan of care and report significant changes to the Case Manager.
Maintain clean living areas and participate in quality improvement activities.
