Job summary

Bristol Hospice in Salem, Oregon is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice team. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering compassionate personal care and supporting comfort for patients and families.

This full-time, day-shift CNA position offers a structured routine and opportunities for advanced training, with a productivity bonus program and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.

Qualifications

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Preferred to have one year experience in community health/hospice or medical/surgical environments.
Must have completed a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training.
Licensed driver with automobile and valid insurance; willing to undergo background checks and maintain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care such as baths, grooming and hygiene as assigned.
Assist with meals, mobility, transfers and daily living activities per plan of care.
Observe and report patient condition changes to the Case Manager promptly.
Maintain patient environment clean, orderly and safe; follow documentation and care procedures.
