Amedisys is hiring a hospice aide to provide compassionate personal care to patients at home in the Omaha area. The role includes assisting with daily activities, meals, and basic homemaking under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CNA certification (state-specific).
• CNA experience within the last two years.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Uses safety principles and proper body mechanics during personal care tasks.
• Plans meals, assists with feeding, and performs light homemaking as assigned.
• Observes and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Follows written care plans and assists with prescribed exercises as instructed.
