Job summary

St. Croix Hospice seeks a compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA) to support patients in their homes under RN supervision. This full-time role emphasizes 1:1, hand-on personal care to improve comfort and quality of life.

You'll travel to patient homes across Newburgh and surrounding areas, perform bathing, grooming, vital signs, meal assistance, and accurate documentation. Indiana CNA certification and valid driver's license required; weekends rotation included.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance
• Provide personal care including bathing, skin/nail care, oral hygiene, dressing/undressing
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety
• Travel to patient homes throughout the day and provide care as scheduled
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Responsibilities

• Record and report vital signs and observations to the care team
