Job summary

Interim HealthCare Hospice in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. You’ll provide direct patient care, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, dignified environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Michigan.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment and maintain unobstructed pathways while providing care.
• Assist patients in activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, nails, and skin care, oral hygiene, toileting.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and/or range of motion exercises.
• Follow the assignment sheet/service plan performing only tasks that are assigned.
• Recognize, report, and record/document changes in patient/client condition and safety to the supervisor.
