Job summary

Interim HealthCare Hospice is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join a caring, patient-first team. You will promote safety, assist with activities of daily living, and document patient changes for ongoing care coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Active CNA certification in Michigan.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate, communicative caregiver able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment and maintain unobstructed pathways while providing care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, nails, skin care, oral hygiene, toileting.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Follow the assignment sheet and perform only tasks assigned.
• Recognize, report, and document changes in patient condition and safety to the supervisor.
