Job summary

Interim HealthCare Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. You will support patients with daily activities, maintain safety, and follow care plans in a hospice setting with flexible assignments.

We offer pay rates from $18 to $22 per hour, weekly pay, health/dental/vision/life insurance, 401(k)/Roth, pet insurance, and an ESOP with company contributions after eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active CNA certification in Michigan.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate, good communicator; able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment and maintain unobstructed pathways while providing care.
• Assist patients in activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, nail and skin care, oral hygiene, toileting).
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Follow the assignment sheet and perform only tasks that are assigned.
• Recognize, report, and record changes in patient condition to the supervisor.
