Job summary

Interim HealthCare Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant in Grant, MI. You will join a team that values and supports CNAs and offers flexible assignments with strong management backing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Michigan CNA certification.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment and maintain unobstructed pathways while providing care.
• Assist patients in activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, nail and skin care, oral hygiene; toileting.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Follow the assignment sheet/service plan performing only tasks that are assigned.
• Recognize, report, and record/document changes in patient/client condition and safety to the supervisor.
