Interim HealthCare Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Casnovia, MI. We value our CNAs and provide support from management, flexible assignments that fit your needs, and opportunities for growth within a family-owned hospice organization.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment and maintain unobstructed pathways while providing care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, nail and skin care, oral hygiene).
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Follow assignment sheet/service plan and perform only assigned tasks.
• Recognize, report, and document changes in patient condition to supervisor.

Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment and maintain unobstructed pathways while providing care
• Assist patients in activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, nail, and skin care, oral hygiene,
• toileting, etc.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and/or range of motion exercises
• Follow the assignment sheet/service plan performing only tasks that are assigned
• Recognize, report, and record/document changes in patient/client condition and safety to the supervisor

A few must-haves for CNAs:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Michigan
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
