Job summary

Interim HealthCare Hospice is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant in Grant, MI. Join a team that values nurses and provides support for both patients and staff. You’ll perform CNA duties in a hospice setting, help with daily living activities, and follow care plans to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Michigan required.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment and maintain unobstructed pathways while providing care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, nail/skin care, oral hygiene, toileting.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Follow assignment sheet and perform only designated tasks.
• Document changes in patient condition and report to supervisor.
