Job summary

Interim HealthCare Hospice seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide patient-centered care in a hospice setting. You will support daily living activities, promote safety, and follow care plans with attention to patient comfort and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active CNA certification in Michigan.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment and maintain unobstructed pathways while providing care.
• Assist patients in activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, nails and skin care, oral hygiene, toileting, etc.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and/or range of motion exercises.
• Follow the assignment sheet/service plan performing only tasks that are assigned.
• Recognize, report, and record/document changes in patient/client condition and safety to the supervisor.
