Job summary

Brighton Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support our patients with personal care and daily living needs in their homes or facilities. This Monday-Friday position offers flexible scheduling and the option for part-time or full-time hours.

The role requires CNA certification, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to work well with a care team while also providing one-on-one patient support.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in the state(s) of practice is required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver\'s license required.
• Ability to work as part of a care team and independently.
• Commitment to compassionate, in-home end-of-life care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance in patients\' homes or facilities.
• Collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers and aide leadership.
• Support flexible scheduling and accommodate college/class schedules.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with our community organizations in patient care
• Ability to work well within a team environment to collaborate daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aide leadership
• Eager to gain higher level of opportunities such as certifications and further education
• Work closely with patients on a 1-1 level but get strong support from a patient care team
• Able to work independently and on your own from a day-to-day basis
• Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state(s) of practice
