Job summary

JourneyCare Hospice is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our growing team. We offer competitive hourly wages, immediate openings, and generous time off with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include personal care, meals, mobility assistance, and monitoring patient condition. Must be state-certified, registered, 18+ with a valid driver's license. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5 PM with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be state-certified as a nurse aide.
• Must appear on the state aide registry with a clear record.
• Age 18 or older where required by state law.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as baths, oral hygiene, and grooming.
• Assist patients with dressing and undressing.
• Plan, prepare, and assist with nutritious meals.
• Assist with feeding and monitoring of nutrition.
• Observe skin condition and prevent tissue breakdown.
• Report patient status and changes to the Case Manager.

HOURS: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5PM - NO WEEKENDS - NO HOLIDAYS

What You’ll Do:

• Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linens
• Assisting in dressing and undressing patients
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals, including shopping
• Assisting in feeding the patient
• Providing proper care and observation of patient’s skin to prevent breakdown of tissue
• Reporting on patient’s condition and significant changes to the Case Manager.
