Job summary

Residential Home Health and Residential Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Director of Clinical Services in Northbrook, IL. The role partners with field leaders and hospital teams to deliver high-quality patient care and oversee clinical operations.

The candidate brings licensed RN or BSN credentials with state licensure, 2+ years hospice experience, and 1+ year of supervisory leadership, along with strong knowledge of hospice regulations to ensure compliance and exceptional care

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or BSN with current state license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Hospice experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisor experience.
• Familiarity with regulations pertaining to Hospice operation to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage project/program development from beginning to end.
• Supervise and develop the Clinical Supervisors.
• Direct and manage global needs of After Hours for all Hospice entities/branches.
• Define scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with VP of Clinical Operations.
• Develop, organize and recruit new business.
• Participate in budget preparation for program development.
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement teams.
• Analyze organization-wide data and report to VP of Clinical Operations.
• Identify areas for improvement and report systematically.
• Lead improvement teams to set aims and measure outcomes.
• Provide coaching to teams as needed.
• Ensure team documents progress and activities.
• Review policies to support staff responsibilities and goals.
• Review and appraisal of total Agency program.
