Job summary

Visiting Nurse Home Care & Hospice of Carroll County and Western Maine seeks a Hospice Clinical Director of Patient Services in North Conway, NH. This full-time leadership role directs clinical hospice services and ensures regulatory compliance while guiding an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient- and family-centered care.

The ideal candidate will hold an NH and Maine license (RN preferred), have hospice leadership experience, budgeting skills, and a proven ability to

Qualifications

• Current MSW or RN license in NH and Maine (RN preferred).
• 3–5 years hospice or palliative care experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, reimbursement models, and clinical standards.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Budgeting, financial management, and performance metrics experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational leadership for hospice services.
• Supervise and develop interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered hospice care.
• Monitor clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, productivity, and quality indicators.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and accreditation standards.
• Develop budgets and staffing plans to support patient care.
• Collaborate with referrals, partners, and sales/marketing for growth.
• Lead care planning meetings and education programs.
• Oversee patient records, reports, and documentation.
