Affinity Hospice is hiring a Clinical Manager to coordinate and supervise hospice clinical services, ensuring high-quality, compliant patient care. The role directs staffing, evaluates staff performance, and maintains clinical documentation and processes.

The position requires Alabama RN licensure, a BSN, and 3+ years of leadership in hospice or similar healthcare, with strong customer service and community engagement skills. Full-time, on-site hours. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in Alabama.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required from an NLN-accredited program.
• 3+ years of leadership management in hospice or related healthcare.
• 2+ years direct hospice experience.
• Ability to supervise clinical and administrative staff.
• Strong customer service and community engagement skills.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and move patients and assist with patient repositioning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the delivery of hospice clinical services.
• Direct staffing, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliant, high-quality clinical documentation and processes.
• Oversee scheduling (on-call, weekend, vacations) for clinical staff.
• Promote compliance with Medicare, state regulations, ACHC, and JCAHO standards.
• Collaborate with intake and marketing to accept referrals.
• Respond to patient complaints with strong customer service focus.
• Provide ongoing staff development and training as needed.
• Support regulatory reviews and quality improvement activities.

Education

Registered Nurse licensure (AL)

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Leadership management experience (3+ yrs)

Hospice field experience (2+ yrs)

Supervisory/administrative leadership

Customer relations and community engagement

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to lift and move patients safely (physical stamina)
