Job summary

Affinity Hospice is seeking a Clinical Manager to coordinate and oversee hospice clinical services, ensuring patient care is delivered safely and efficiently. The role leads the clinical team, develops staff, and ensures compliance with Medicare, state regulations, ACHC, and JCAHO standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an NLN-accredited program.
• At least three years of leadership management experience in hospice or related health care.
• Two years’ experience in direct Hospice field.
• Ability to supervise professional/admin personnel.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of hospice Medicare, state regulations, ACHC, and JCAHO standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical leadership and direction for patient care delivery.
• Interprets operational indicators to detect census and staffing changes.
• Assists in hiring, evaluating, and terminating clinical personnel.
• Oversees clinical notes, orders, and processes for compliance.
• Ensures orientation and ongoing education for organization personnel.
• Promotes compliance with licensure, certification, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinates on-call, weekend, and vacation schedules for clinical staff.
