TriHealth in Blue Ash, OH seeks an experienced RN to review hospice patients' medical records for accuracy and completeness throughout enrollment. You will analyze documentation to support determinations of terminal illness, physician certification, and level of care for proper billing.

You will educate physicians, nursing staff, and other team members on documentation guidelines, collaborate with IT to ensure EMR capture, and support HOPE submissions to CMS as required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in Nursing or related field; healthcare/business acceptable.
• 4–5 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• 2–3 years hospice inpatient and/or home care experience required.
• Basic keyboarding and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Knowledge of hospice software and COP/Joint Commission requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Review hospice patients' medical records for accuracy and completeness throughout enrollment.
• Analyze documentation to support billable level of care for claims submission.
• Prepare and review medical records in response to ADRs.
• Educate physicians and nursing staff on documentation guidelines related to errors and orders.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure documentation is captured in the EMR.
