Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Clinical Reviewer to support Home Health and Hospice services. The role emphasizes reviewing patient information, ensuring accurate OASIS data, and maintaining compliant documentation across SOC, ROC, and discharge processes.

The candidate will train staff on OASIS documentation, coordinate with field teams, and ensure coding aligns with federal and state guidelines. Strong ICD-10 coding and healthcare billing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-secondary education in a clinical specialist or medical records program or COS-C designation required.
• Certification in ICD-10 coding required or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Experience with ICD-10 medical coding and Medicare home health agency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve patient information for start of care, recertification, resumption of care or evaluation visits.
• Process SOC, ROC, and discharge OASIS and related documentation for accuracy.
• Ensure correct start of care and episode date ranges and appropriate POC selection.
• Provide training support to staff on OASIS documentation and coding.
