Job summary

Bristol Hospice in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Hospice Chaplain for a PRN hourly role. You will assess spiritual needs, develop care plans, and provide direct spiritual support to patients and families within the interdisciplinary team.

The position requires seminary or theology training, willingness to travel to hospice locations, and comfort with EMR systems. Competitive hourly pay and hospice benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology; BD or M.Div. preferred.
• Hospice experience or exposure is a plus.
• Willing to travel to hospice locations as assigned.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct spiritual care to patients and families.
• Perform spiritual assessments and help develop individualized plans of care.
• Document care activities and communicate with interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate with community chaplains and spiritual counselors.
