Job summary

Bristol Hospice is seeking an experienced Hospice Chaplain to provide direct spiritual care, assessments, and support to patients and families. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and liaise with community chaplains, ensuring timely, compassionate spiritual services across hospice locations.

The role requires a seminary/ theological degree with experience in death and dying; hospice experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology (BD, M.Div. or equivalent preferred).
• Experience working with death and dying; hospice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct spiritual care to patients and families.
• Assure spiritual assessment and plan of care within the interdisciplinary team.
• Document services and coordinate with community chaplains and spiritual counselors.
• Attend care conferences and participate in quality improvement activities.
