Everwind Hospice seeks a compassionate Chaplain to provide spiritual support in healthcare, hospice, and community settings. You will help patients, families, and staff navigate spiritual needs with sensitivity and cultural awareness.

The role involves bereavement support, crisis intervention, and leadership in spiritual care initiatives, collaborating with healthcare teams to honor dignity at end of life.

Qualifications

• Bereavement care experience or training.
• Crisis intervention techniques for distressed individuals.
• Knowledge of hospice care principles and ethics.
• Familiarity with Christian counseling while respecting other faiths.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual counseling to patients, families, and staff with compassion.
• Lead and participate in worship, rites, and spiritual care initiatives.
• Coordinate events promoting spiritual well‑being in the community.
• Offer bereavement support and guidance to those coping with loss.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate spiritual care into treatments.
