Job summary

Everwind Hospice seeks a compassionate Chaplain to provide spiritual care across healthcare facilities, hospices, and community settings. You will lead bereavement support, crisis intervention, and spiritual care initiatives within our care teams.

Collaborate with clinicians to integrate spiritual care into treatment plans, offer Christian counseling where appropriate, and help families find comfort during difficult times with dignity and respect at end-of-life.

Qualifications

• Must have bereavement support techniques and practices.
• Experience with crisis intervention methods for distressed individuals.
• Knowledge of hospice care principles and practices.
• Familiarity with Christian counseling approaches while respecting diverse faiths.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual counseling and support to patients, families, and staff.
• Conduct public speaking engagements to educate groups on spiritual care practices.
• Plan and coordinate events promoting spiritual well-being in the community.
• Offer bereavement support to individuals coping with loss.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate spiritual care into patient plans.
• Engage in Christian counseling as needed while respecting others' beliefs.
