Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years of experience in a formal ministerial setting is required.
• Demonstrated theological coursework required.
• Ability to pass background, consumer report and drug test.
• Valid State Driver’s License and access to a vehicle in good working order.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct spiritual support to patients and families.
• Conduct spiritual assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Coordinate with community chaplains and spiritual counselors.
• Maintain records for quality assurance and compliance.
• Attend interdisciplinary team meetings and provide spiritual care consultation.
• Recruit and educate community chaplains, counselors, and volunteers.
• Assist in developing bereavement programs and follow-up care.
• Oversee condolence calls and memorial services.
