Absolute Home Health & Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Chaplain in Cambridge, OH, offering both part-time and full-time opportunities. The role focuses on providing spiritual care, emotional support, and guidance to patients and families during the hospice journey.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to tailor care, honoring individual beliefs and values while ensuring professional, respectful, and supportive service.

Qualificações

• A degree from an accredited theological school is preferred.
• Experience providing counseling or spiritual support to individuals from diverse religious backgrounds.
• Knowledge of religious communities within the hospice service area.
• Willingness to participate in on-call coverage.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and state-required auto liability insurance.

What You’ll Do

Provide spiritual and emotional support to hospice patients and their families.

Offer compassionate guidance that respects each person's faith, beliefs, values, and spiritual preferences.

Support patients and loved ones as they navigate the challenges and transitions associated with end-of-life care.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to help meet the unique needs of each patient.

What We’re Looking For

A degree from an accredited theological school is preferred.

Experience providing counseling or spiritual support to individuals from diverse religious and spiritual backgrounds.

Knowledge of the religious and spiritual communities within the hospice service area.

The ability to connect with and support patients and families from a wide variety of backgrounds.

An understanding of and commitment to the hospice philosophy of care.

Willingness to participate in on-call coverage.

A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and state-required auto liability insurance.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

The ability to work independently, manage responsibilities effectively, and maintain a professional, respectful, and positive attitude.

Reliable and punctual attendance.
