Job summary

Interim HealthCare Hospice in Wellington, KS is seeking a Part-time Hospice Chaplain to support patients and families seeking comfort and closure. The role entails conducting spiritual assessments and coordinating services with clergy or counselors, with a focus on compassionate care during end-of-life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited seminary, school of theology, or religious studies program (BD, MDIV or equivalent).
• Experience working with death and dying and with patients and families or caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Assess hospice patients and families' spiritual needs.
• Coordinate or provide timely spiritual services with patients, families, and community clergy.
• Maintain records of spiritual services and activities as directed.
• Support the interdisciplinary plan of care to meet spiritual needs.
• Provide funeral or memorial services upon request.
