Job summary

Sanctuary Hospice is seeking a Part Time Chaplain to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and families navigating end-of-life moments. Join a mission-driven team with a holistic approach to care, honoring diverse beliefs.

You will work with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to deliver compassionate spiritual care, grief support, and guidance, while coordinating with the care team and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Compensation reflects experience and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate theological degree or equivalent in pastoral ministry.
• Minimum one CPE unit preferred.
• Comfortable in interfaith settings and able to honor diverse beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Assess spiritual and emotional needs of patients and families as part of the IDT care plan.
• Provide spiritual counseling, comfort, and guidance for all faiths.
• Offer grief and bereavement support during hospice journey and after loss.
• Collaborate with Program Director and care team to coordinate spiritual care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology (BD, MDiv, or equivalent theological degree)
