VITAS Healthcare is seeking a Chaplain to join an interdisciplinary team, addressing spiritual needs of patients, families, and staff. You will provide pastoral care and counseling based on assessments and diverse faith perspectives.

The role emphasizes authentic compassion, collaboration with clinicians, and excellence in hospice spiritual care. A background in CPE and board endorsement are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Ordination or Commission to function in pastoral care and endorsed by faith body.
• Minimum 1 unit (400 hours) of CPE accreditation; more is preferred.
• Experience in clinical pastoral education contexts or related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral care interventions and counseling based on spiritual assessment.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to support patients, families and staff.
• Address spiritual dynamics of illness, loss and death with sensitivity.
